Ocelot jepasivní mob, který se rodí v džunglích. Je to druhý ochočitelný mob v minecraftu (první je vlk). Kočka se dá ochočit pomocí syrové ryby. Jelikož oceloti před váim pořád utíkají musíte rybu držet v ruce a čekat než si nějaký ocelot všimne a pomalu se připlíží. Pak stačí dát 2-4 ryby a promění se v kočku. Jsou tři druhy koček, zrzek, černá a vzácně i čedá siamská. Spawnují se u džungle a v džunglích na listí což je údajně činí vzácnými moby (Mě bohužel otravujou všude), když na ně narazíte tak se jich nezbavíte, protože se budou teleportovat za vámi. Při stavbě ve výškách vás pak mohou schodit. Každopádně mají jedno veliké plus, creepeři se koček i ocelotů bojí a doslova od nich utíkají. Takže když si okolo baráku rozestavíte kočky máte proti Creeperům štít. :-)
Ocelot se nikdy nespavne když budete mít nastavený režim mírumilovný. Ocelot umí sprintovat, to nastane když jste moc blzko u něj nebo se rychle rozhlížíte. Před hráčem se oceloti schovávají do listí (není to bug), nebo jinam kde by ste moba nečekali, pak to vypadá, že má jen hlavu. Kočky i oceloti mohou padat z jakékoliv výšky a nezraní se. Utíkají i před vlkem.
Kočky jsou velmi otravné, když je ochočíte mají tendenci sedat si na postel nebo na pec a hlavně na truhlu která pak nejde otevřít. Sundat se dají buď popostrčením, ale když spadnou vyskočí znovu zpět. A nebo opět syrovou rybou, kterou nalákáte na jiné místo. Kočky mňoukají a předou, někdy je to slyšet. Když potřebujete na něčem pracovat , kočka umí jednoduché povely jako sedni a vstaň pomocí pravého tlačítka.
Páření koček je obdobné jako u jiných mobů. Stačí ankrmit dvě kočky syrovou rybou, opět platí pravidlo kdo je nakrmen první je matka a potom bude nosit jeho barvu. To neplatí pokud jedna z koček sedí bude mít bravu stojící kočky. Pak se mohou znovu zpářit aý po 5ti minutách.
V mutliplayeru se dokonce stává, že kočka za vámi vleze i do netheru :-)
